SALES & MARKETING COORDINATOR

Full-time, seasonal position - April to November

ZEP MTB CAMPS is seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our sales and marketing efforts by assisting with various tasks including registrations, marketing coordination, customer communication, administrative duties and other related tasks that require careful planning, quick learning an and eye for detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales and Registrations:
    • Maintain and update website information with current program details
    • Program set up and management within the registration system
    • Customer service and assistance with sales and booking enquiries
  • Marketing Coordination:
    • Assist wit the creation of a detailed rollout plan that outlines when and how to market seasonal programs.
    • Assist with management of social media channels
    • Coordinate with a graphic designer to create ad campaigns for programming
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support tot he General Manager and Operations Managers on staff schedules, calendar management and handling correspondence.
    • Coordinate travel logistics for staff, including booking flights, accommodations and transportation as required.
    • Assist with budget tracking and expense management for sales and marketing activities.
  • Event Coordination and Special Project:
    • Assist in organizing programs, permits, meetings and other events as required.
    • Take on special projects and assignments as delegated by the General Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct research on industry trends and market developments to support the decision making process
    • Collecting feedback from participants and staff during the season. Use this feedback to make necessary adjustments to improve the program and its marketing strategies.
  • Confidentiality:
    • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all time.

QUALIFICATIONS and ATTRIBUTES

  • Proven experience in a sales, marketing or administrative support role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Administration or a related field preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft/Google office programs including but not limited to Word and Excel and other relevant software
  • Discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information
  • Previous knowledge and/or experience with digital marking tools and platforms is a plus
  • Knowledge of bike coaching, industry or keen interest in mountain biking preferred

Based out of Whistler and established 2006, ZEP MTB CAMPS is an industry leader in mountain bike coaching, education and instructor training. ZEP offers a variety of coaching services, including adult skills programs, kids camps, private and custom programs and instructor training camps. The core focus will be to offer the community with key coaching programs for kids and adults, helping to grow a culture of safe, effective mountain bike lessons, while supporting the local community, bike clubs and trail builders; 2% off all proceeds will go to trail building!

As developers of the Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA) Certifications and Directors of the PMBI Association, ZEP has played a key role in establishing and improving the finest teaching practices and instructor certifications, within mountain biking.
